Coolant change season

Our 2 years are up and it's time for a coolant change on the CE and the 300E.

Is there any compelling reason why I would have to do a citrus flush? Coolant looks good on both cars.

I use Zerex g-5... one gallon...and the rest water.

the 300e seems to run just a shade hotter than the other two 124's.

Son is home from college..so it's time to get his car back up to my standards.

My engine temperature gauge is around 87 oC driving and 95 oC stop and go, is it hotter than your 300E ?

maybe the 300e is a tad hotter... the other two a tad lower than yours.

I'd skip the degrease/descale ritual if everything looks good. Also, I think three years is the recommended change interval isn't it?

three years is recommended... but i also change my oil at 3k, and most other fluids annually.... transmission at 30k with synthetic.

i like clean fluids....escpecially in old cars

Yeah, like human body the fluid is very important. I wish we could "oil-change" our blood every 10 years
