Problem with AC in the rear, W220 S320

My parents have a problem with the rear AC in their 1999 W220 S320 (4-zone AC) - they only get hot air from the vents.
The AC in the front works perfect.

I suspect the duo valves might be the problem, but any input is appreciated now that summer is coming
