Can anyone tell me if there is a way to shut off the climate control on a 1987 300E?
The car is new to me and I don't know if it is operating correctly. It never seems to shut off except when I push the "0" button located at the right of the row of buttons. But after a few seconds the fan starts blowing again. Low, high and auto fan seem to work. Is there a way I can simply turn it off, roll the windows down and open the sun roof without the unit trying to control the temperature? Smiles.
