Does anyone know the part number of the black steel bracket that the belt tensioner arm (103 200 02 36) bolts through, and is attached to the back of the power steering pump? I may have tightened the tensioning nut overzealously and appear to have deformed the hole in the top of the steel bracket.
Alternately, is the newer style of M104 belt tensioner (I believe 104 200 08 70) fittable to retrofittable to pre-July 1993 M104's? The mounting holes are on the water pump and power steering pump, not on the engine block - would those need to get replaced in order to fit this new tensioner? This newer style looks easier and simpler to work with than the current one I have.
