1994 C280 Central Locking Vacuum

I'm trying to locate the '94 C280 central locking vacuum pump, and was told by the dealer that it was either behind or under the rear seat. I'm not so much of a handyman (let alone mechanic!). Does someone have a diagram, or better tip on where I can find it? Really appreciate your help!

under the rear seat.lift up lower part of rear seat and you will see it encased in foam cover.

trunk?

i just removed my rear seat (96 c280) to reroute some electrical and i didn't see it there. you may want to look in the trunk for it.

if your rear seat is like mine it's real easy to take out - a couple of bolts and you're home free.

Nope, I even removed the black cardboard behind the rear seat (in the trunk) and still found nothing! Perhaps 'cause it's a '94?

Isn't it in the trunk on the right side wall, behind the trunk trim?

It should be in the trunk on the same side as your battery, you have to remove the trunk side liner to access it.
