98 C280 seats intermittent
Sometimes they work, sometimes not. No amount of (subdued) whacking or switch tweaking seems to alter the condition - either they do or they don't.
Since the wife is the primary driver, and I'm 10 inches taller than her and either of the two kids, there needs to be some occasional adjustment. I don't believe the switches are bad since it's unlikely they'd both go on/off simultaneously. No wiring diagram handy. Is there a relay or control module that I should look for to re-seat, clean, replace? Wish I had a wiring diagram... without having to get the whole package. Everything else seems to work, which is pretty good for a 100,000 mile car, but then it's "only" 9 years old. Thanks in advance, any wizards out there... |
