1988 300TE rear windows don't operate

I had an issue with one of the rear windows not operating but decided not to deal with it at the time. Subsequently the other rear window no longer worked (ie from either the console or the doors). I ordered new console switches and replaced them. Still both windows are inoperable.

If the child lock switch is shot, will that keep the windows from operating or should I be looking someplace else to solve this?

Its too hot to let this go any longer and any help would be greatly appreciated.
