I've broken momma's cup holder in her 2000 C230 .......can anyone tell me or direct me to where can find directions on replacing it? I've check the DIY links and have also done a search on several threads - to no avail.....

Thanks!!!

cup holder

Is it the one that sits in the center console? If so just pull up on it and it should come out of the slides and you should be able to see how to put the new one in!!

help

Thanks,
It's in the center console - the 'swivel' part. It wouldn't move so I think I applied too much pressure......and....now when I push down on it to re-install it - it doesn't stay down - just springs right out!!!

Open the cup holder all the way then just reach down inside, get a good grip and pull straight up. Fix it if you can or try to get one from a salvage yard.
