Yesterday I changed the plugs, this morning

the car runs like crap. Look things over and find 2 wires at a temperature sensor have lost their insulation and are shorted. So it looks like my '95 E320 has the caught the wire harness plague. Is there a source of a cheaper/better replacement harness other than the dealer?
