Folks,
I took out my in-car temperature sensor for testing yesterday. After setting it out next to a digital thermometer for 30 minutes, I tested the resistance on it and it was within spec. Next I tested the vacuum line that connects to it. No suction when putting a small piece of tissue on it. Next I need to test the aspirator blower which is on the other end of the tube. My CD shows that this is behind the glove box, but the 94/95 W124s do not have glove boxes. Can someone tell me if the aspirator blower is indeed behind this area? What is the best way to get to it so that I can test/replace it without worry of accidently setting off the air bag? Willy |
Still looking for the aspirator blower. Tried to look underneath the driver dash but can't seem to find anything that remotely looks like it.
Any idea where it might be? |
Found it... 2 years later. Needed to remove the passenger air bag and lower dash. Instructions are here:
