Folks,

I took out my in-car temperature sensor for testing yesterday. After setting it out next to a digital thermometer for 30 minutes, I tested the resistance on it and it was within spec.

Next I tested the vacuum line that connects to it. No suction when putting a small piece of tissue on it. Next I need to test the aspirator blower which is on the other end of the tube. My CD shows that this is behind the glove box, but the 94/95 W124s do not have glove boxes.

Can someone tell me if the aspirator blower is indeed behind this area? What is the best way to get to it so that I can test/replace it without worry of accidently setting off the air bag?

Willy

Still looking for the aspirator blower. Tried to look underneath the driver dash but can't seem to find anything that remotely looks like it.

Any idea where it might be?

Found it... 2 years later. Needed to remove the passenger air bag and lower dash. Instructions are here:
