How to adjust kickdown alignment on 600SEL?

It's my 600SEL 1992. I found two arrows on the location of the kickdown adjustment (Must they meet in front of each other like this → ← ?). I played with them while the engine was running and got ASR light. I switched off the car the started it it ran without the ASR light. When the car is on the S position it will shift on the 4th gear only after I exceed 110KM/H (68.3MPH) is that normal? If not how to adjust it? I know how to adjust it for the 560 but not the 600, it's new to me. Thanks in advanced :)

Something else I remembered regaurding the E and S switch, they are reversed. It means E is S and S is E. Anything I can do to return them to function properly?

I sent you a PM.

Well After looking through the info and some function documents it appears to be normal. Ill be sending you the approiate documents once I get your email. The kickdown switch is for full throttle only. After looking through all the tranny documents it appears there is no adjustment for the kickdown switch or solenoid. The only thing that is adjustable is the vacuum modular. Just look through the documents and message me if you want more info.

Thank you Mr. Oracle12345 for the great info. Actually I was asking about the alignment itself. I can alligne to the left and right but must both arrows be in front of each other?

Theres another place I can look to see if procedures are there regarding the kickdown. I havent worked on model like yours so I could be wrong about this. But the arrows you are referring to maybe are for full throttle adjustment.
