Hi All,
I just had my emissions test done and my car failed..Here are the readings...
HC GPM .75 Limit=2.00
CO GPM 2.32 Limit=30.00
NOx GPM 3.22 Limit=3.00
CO2 GPM 510.13 ----

The NOx is the only problem. I just installed a catalytic converter. Car runs good and gets 27MPG. Recent oil, plugs wires etc.
Would a shot of alcohol/gas line antifreeze reduce the emissions? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks!
Charles Markham

I have used Heat fuel antifreeze to pass emitions before. I don't know what kind of damage that it could cause but it does work.

Good Luck
Dan

Charles,
Your'e running a little bit lean.
Have your air fuel mixture adjusted by
a competent tech.w/ the right equipment.
Make a search under NOx.
