Having trouble finding solution to heater/AC controls. Unit does not work in auto fan setting. Hot/cold temp varies widely. Clarify auto fan setting, fan does work but it never shuts down.

My day began at 2am and it's now pushing 11pm, so I'm running a bit slow. Maybe you can clarify a few things.

What do you mean by "unit does not work in Auto Setting"?

Also "Hot/cold temp varies widely"?

This may not be it's intended way, but in my case, when using the AUTO setting, I get a rather forceful flow of air; that flow never lets up. My interpretation of the manuals is that it would blow hard for awhile; then eventually let up a bit. I live in south Texas where heat never lets up, so that may be why AUTO blows hard, fast; furious continously.
