I believe my 500E may have overheated and shutdown but the temp guage was claiming otherwise and thus I have reason to believe that my temp gauge (or temp sensor) is not functioning properly.
I've narrated what had occured on the following thread: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?postid=101970#post101970 I was wondering if anyone can describe how an MB V8 behaves when overheating (loss of power? poor idle? lower idle rpm? etc.) or if you could confirm that it was indeed overheating. Many thanks.
