I need to replace my 99MB's Power Steering Fluid. Does anyone know what the MB PS Fluid part number is??? Should I use original MB Fluid or could I just buy, off-the-shelf ATF Dexron fluids???? Thanks. BTW, is: Part# 000-989-88-03 correct for MB Pwr Strng Fluid? Is this the only type of MB PS Fluid?

The late MBs use a different PS fluid than early cars. Do not use ATF in these cars and probably not in the early cars either. MBDoc gave a good reason for this a while back. It changed my mind but I can't remember the reason.
