It appears that my Blower motor is toast....

1984 380 SE W126
I replaced the climate control relay and R & R'd the blower relay and replaced it. it is working as I hear it clicking when various buttons are pushed. when I tried to push a fan button on slow, I got an odor of a possible melt down of circuit board. and I shut it off. I then disconnected the blower and the aux heater pump. I then hooked the blower motor to ground and used my probe to see if power was going to the blower when I pushed the slow or high button and there is power there. NO blower turning at all. I took off the lower cover and the motor does rotate so it's not frozen. I did not get the burning electrical parts oder either. So I'm positive that the blower motor is toast. Probably needs brushes.

What I need to know is how to get the blower assy out to R & R the blower motor. I have everything out that is around it but the relays are back in place. I understand that it just 3 bolts holding it in and I can see some push clips holding the halves together. Where are the bolts or screws to remove the assy.?

I have searched all the DIY articles but see nothing about the W126 Heater blower removal. I have this all apart and do not wish to put it back together until I can r &R or replace the blower.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
