lowered 88 300se
finally finished lowering my 88 300se with the help from this guide. most 99% of the instructions were dead on and very helpful http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W126RearShocksSprings
dropped the front approx 3.5 inches and the rear 3 inches. cut springs and she still rides like a Cadillac ![]() . |

i cut the springs .. and yes ive read about the nay sayers against it .. stock shocks and springs .. all i did was cut approx 2 1/2 coils off front and 1 1/2 from the back .. front springs are pretty long so im not concerned about the shock travel as its only a few inches at most of travel when driving .. same with the rear
