dropped the front approx 3.5 inches and the rear 3 inches. cut springs and she still rides like a Cadillac

lol .. just an expression .. it is a good thing that i didnt loose any comfort or have the ride be stiff .. i figured it would have been ruff over bumps but i cant notice the difference really

So where did you get your lowering springs/struts?

i cut the springs .. and yes ive read about the nay sayers against it .. stock shocks and springs .. all i did was cut approx 2 1/2 coils off front and 1 1/2 from the back .. front springs are pretty long so im not concerned about the shock travel as its only a few inches at most of travel when driving .. same with the rear

Yikes,,, 2 1/2 coils ? I cut about 4 linear inches from the front coils on my SL and TE and it dropped the front ends about an inch. 2 1/2 coils sounds like a LOT.

wasnt to bad for my taste .. i first cut two off .. reinstalled and wanted a tad bit more so i went another 1/2 coil .. its slammed just how i wanted it to be .. i wouldnt reccomend much if your not looking to do much .. but i wanted approx 3 1/2 - 4 inch drop .. i was just gonna go 1 coil but i figured if i had to get new springs it would be that hard beings i have access to a few pick n pulls .. looks pretty cool .. now i gotta work on some shinny rims instead of my stock ones
