About 6 months ago, I got a Vehicle Master Inquiry from a Mercedes-Benz dealership on my car (VIN # WDBHA28E1SF148006). Everything checks out except one thing. There are about 4 things on there. The first being a problem with the glove box striker, then the resonance flap replacement (?), and there was the time I used MB Roadside Assitance. Well there was also one thing at 35,690 miles that made me a little curious.
It was listed under
'Damage Text' as "**DO NOT USE** [,] **MBUSA**". And the damage code was 2185400 .
Then there was the RO # (Repair Order number?) 88765. I also have the dealership ID number (Mission Viejo Imports, now MB of Laguna Niguel).

I do know that my car was in some sort of accident in the past (due to non original passenger door), and that the car has been repainted. Well I was wondering if that code is an accident code of some sort? Can anyone tell me? I wish I had access to a computer linked to MBUSA to get all this info on my own! If no one can help me, is it possible to get the info from the dealership? Can they tell me exactly what that means? Or should I try MBUSA?

Thanks for the help anyone!

Damage codes indicate what part car that was repaired. The first two digits indicate the GROUP(section) of the car that was the problem. THERE isn't any group 21, MBUSA uses that group for roadside assistance & goodwill. So that 21854-00 relates to roadside repair.
