Are these real parts or did someone make them?
went to the junk yard today and found this (see pictures). It was on a 91 or 92 w201. Its a center console compartment. I looked for a part number or a MB marking, but I couldn't couldn't find anything. I painted the compartment and lid black. The funny thing is that the lid is solid wood and it had the Zebrano trim over the entire lid, top and bottom. I scraped it off and painted it all black. I'm debating on whether I want to get the japanese cherry wood veneer for it since I haber that in my car now.

I would think aftermarket, not homemade. Some aftermarket house like Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories. Wonder if they are still around, you could try finding it.
