C280 Blower Motor Problems

Hi...
I have a 95 C280 and there's no air coming out of the vents. The climatic control seems to be working - there are lights showing and when I change modes, I can hear the flaps inside the vents moving. So, I think it's probably the blower motor that's causing this problem.

I've check all fuses for the climatic control, including the blower motor fuse (#9). They all seem to be alright.

My question is, are there any other things that I should check before replacing the blower motor?

P.S. The car has been parked for the last 8 months without operating the blower...could it be stuck?

Thanks.
