hello.

i'm thinking about buying a MB 500E or E500.

I just want to ask if there are any specific things to look for when buying one?

i'm from the Netherlands so i haven't got much choice.

there are about 4 cars for sale in my country.

Yes, there's tons for very very useful information on inspecting and owning a 500e here.

In addition, for an added peace of mind, its better to be in the "know" before you get yourself into a money pit on any used automobile. That being said, a professional tech's detailed inspection (one familiar with 500e's) is well worth the expense.

Within the archives there are apparently a bunch of items on an 500e that would need refreshing at the 100K mile mark.
