Help with door weatherstripping...

Does anyone know how to R&R the weather seal strip on a car door?

I just bought a 1990 300CE. The weather strip/seal around the front door has a few cracks. I want to replace it with a new seal.

Does anyone know how to perform this procedure?

Thanks in advanced.

Ernesto, I never do the replacement but I used to read it some where just pull the old one and stick the new one in. I was thinking replace mine as well. Where do you get the parts from and how much? We drive the same car now.

Hey, the last time I was at Enrique's I saw a white 300CE, I thought it may have been you but of course it was someone else.

Yes, I've heard that to,, to just pull it out and stick the new one in.

But with Benzes things arenever easy so I decided to ask.

You can get the replacement weather strip from the dealer.

Yep, I've gone back a year, but now I have 26k fewer miles on the clock!
