I have a '73 250C with a smokey M130 engine. I suspect it also blown a head gasket so its time to think rebuild or replace. I have an option to buy a good M110 engine out of an '83 280SE complete with wiring loom, all EFI gear, computer, trans etc. Has anyone installed one of these later model M110s in a W114 chassis? I'm not concerned about the wiring or plumbing so much as transmission clearance in the tunnel and selector linkages. Anybody have any helpful hints?
