B2 Pistion Guide P/N

Hi Guys

I'm rebuilding a 722.4 transmission, and as anyone else on this forum I have heard lots of horror stories of the B2 pistion failing.

I went to my local dealer, and asked for an upgraded B2 pistion guide ring, what I got was the B2 piston Cover...
I also found some manuals that say that the Plastic B2 guide ring is only for 722.3 transmissions, and the 722.4s keep the aluminum one, but they have the upgraded pistion itself, mine does for sure.

Would anyone with access please see if a part number exists for the plastic B2 guide ring, I would hate to put this transmission back together and into the car with the aluminum ring there.

Thank you

xp

Yea that's the part, it's supposed to replace the aluminum one right?
Is there one for 722.4s?

722.4 transmissions, Confirm these numbers with a Dealer before you buy them. You will need the 722.4############ from the pan rail on the transmission case.

B2 Piston # A 201 270 02 32
B2 T seal # A 201 277 00 55

Thank you much C32AMG

I'll be at the dealer in the next few days to pick up the last batch of parts.
