Mercedes Tranny -Can I use a 722.303 in place of 722.351/319

I have a 1989 300SE (which calls for a 722.315/319 tranny) that I love and I think it needs a new tranny. I have an opportunity to purchase a new 722.303. Can I use the 722.303 tranny by combining some of the parts from my old tranny? Any input will ge greatly apprecaited.
