inertia switch
i have a 91 300TE 4matic that the main fuel pump located at the fuel tank won't come on. I was told there was once a problem with the inertia switch located near the brake pedal. Does this sound reasonable to anyone and if so, where do i find the switch?

MB's never used a system like that. Ford's use that.
ON your car the fuel pump is controlled by the MAS relay. |
Thanks!

mas relay location
any quick hints on it's location and how to identify it? i have no resources other than this forum. i inherited the car for free because it wouldn't start and have managed to figure out the fuel pump is not coming on. i haven't had a chance to see if there is power at the pump yet or not.

the relay in question is located behind the battery along with the cpu's for 4 matic and engine.s/b marked MAS:)
