Posi diff

I have a 86 300E and was wondering if anyone knows of a posi rear diff unit that would work in it, or of any aftermarket parts that have had success?

Thanks

I believe the posi from the 190 16v will bolt in. It is a 3.27 ratio.

I'd recommend that when you do find a diff have it rebuilt before you install it.

I believe ASR (automatic slip control) was standard on the 500E and an option on the 300E and 400E from 1991 on. The ASD (locking differential) was an option on the 300D 2.5 from '91-'93.

See this post for more information.
ASD vs. LSD
