Does anyone know where the Air Conditioning ACC temperature sensor and the ACC Temp Switch are located on a 92 500SL? And if you remove the Temp switch will you have evacuate & recharge the Freon? My AC shuts off after retarting the car after the car is warmed up....any description on how the high and low sensors work...as well?

ACC temp sensor is in a little housing next to the courtesy light between the sun visors. I am not sure what you mean by the ACC temp switch. There is not temp sensor in the air conditioner refrigerant path. There is one in the plenum for the A/C evaporator which slaves to the ACC control unit, prevents the evaporator from freezing. High and low pressures switches are usually located at the receiver/dryer. High pressure switch will open at a predetermined pressure after the compressor has run up system pressure. Low pressure switch will open if the system drops below a predetermined value. To protect the compressor from running w/o circulating refrigerant and oil.
