I've noticed lately that my 240D has been vibrating a little more than is usual with a diesel. When the engine turns over, there's a fairly severe jolt. At idle speed in the first 2 or 3 minutes of driving, the vibration is very noticeable... then fades off as the engine warms up. When I turn the car off, I get another jolt as the engine comes to a stop. This just started happening all of a sudden.
Any Ideas? Thanks in advance! |

Check the motor mounts and especially check the hand pump for fuel leakage as it will leak on the motor mount and disintegrate it.
