update tail lights to leds
I have been thinking about buying after market tail lights leds & head lights. Whats the word on the street about them. Make a 2000 S500 look like a 2005 & save 40,000. Thanks Joe

Your vehicle computer will NOT like it.
You will see many " Lights out " messages, as the currentdraw of the bulbs is monitored, and the reduced draw ( from the LED's ) will confuse the computer.

You can get "load equalizers", which is basically a 5W resistor that you wire in parallel to the LEDs. This will draw enough current to keep the bulb monitors happy. If you decide to use them, mount them carefully because they will get HOT!
