Identification codes

Please folks, point me to where I can find out the meaning of all the code numbers on the small metal plate next to the identification plate in front of the radiator? I understand that it lists all the features of the car. Don't understand the sequence/lay out of the code numbers.

Cheers!

If you look at your Vehicle Data Card, which you should find attached to the last page of your Maintenance Booklet, you will find some of the numbers that are on that plate. The plate has things like you vehicle production number, your chasis number (124.xxx), paint code, interior code, and some of your major option codes (but not all option codes), the 3-number numbers that are in columns.

I have a list of many of the option codes and their brief description if you are interested.

Identification Codes

OK, I did an earlier post and kept searching. This is what I need but the link in the last post from 2002 is no longer valid. Anyone got a new link with the same information?

This appears to be the same link, and it works for me.
