2000 E320 4 Matic - Crankshaft position sensor replaced.

00 e320 4matic.
car wouldn't start when warm.
car would shut off unexpectedly especially when comming to a stop.
got worst over time. could only drive it for about 20 min before it shut off.

I removed the crankshaft sensor and all it took was.
-remove the engine cover
-and using an E8 driver from sears and a short extension 1/4 wrench did the trick.
-you can see the sensor but if you put your hand down there you can no longer see it. just have to feel where the screw is at.
-took me 10 mins.

Old sensor was original and had a date of 1999 on it. My car is 100k miles. Hope this write up helps some people.
