Exclamation AMG 300TE TWIN TURBO spec request

I’ve just acquired a AMG 300TE Twin Turbo 4 matic 1990 model and I’m hoping that somebody can tell me what the performance figures may have been or indeed any details about this type of upgrade. Thanks in Hope...

Simon

More than likely it is a conversion done in the aftermarket and not by AMG. The wheels and other add ons could be AMG. Could you e-mail some pics?

Offical AMG 300TE-24V 3.4 Facts & Figures!

I am not sure about the "exact" version that Mr. Simon recently acquired, since I have in my hands the official AMG Catalog for the models 300 E/TE/CE-24V 3.4

This catalog (one of my hobbies is to collect M.B. brochures) is in German (I think I got it from one of my trips to Germany) and has excellent pictures of all the models described before plus a very detailed Specs sheet (unlike most M.B. catalogs).

In the "Technik" section, the specifications for the AMG 300TE-24V 3.4 are described as follows:

Engine: AMG-Motor M 104 3,4 liters Katalysator

Power: 200 kW (272 PS) @ 6.500 rpm

Torque: 330 Nm @ 4,500 rpm

Accelaration from standstill (using the sport manual 5-speed)
0 - 100 km/h: 7,9 sec.
0 - 400 m: 15,4 sec.
0 - 1,000 m: 28,0 sec.
Top speed: 241 km/h

Accelaration from standstill (using the automatic 4-speed)
0 - 100 km/h: 8,2 sec.
0 - 400 m: 15,6 sec.
0 - 1,000 m: 28,3 sec.
Top speed: 236 km/h

Hope this information is useful.
As you might guess, all the specs for the sedan and the coupe are little better that those for the T-reihe.
