airbag?
Can someone tell me what all sedans used the same airbag as the '92 190E? I see alot of airbags on ebay for the C and E class sedans of the late 90's that look identical to the one from my '92 190E.
Thanks! |

I believe your best bet is from the W124 or W140 since those are the part numbers for the 190E 88-93 airbags
88-91 = 124 460 03 98 92-93 = 140 460 12 98 |

There are two different steering wheels for the late eighties and early nineties cars.
W126 cars all had the early style. W124 changed over around 1993. I think some of the last W201s (limited edition) had the smaller wheels as well. Airbags are distinct, and the entire wheel can be changed over, but requires a new contact ring on the column. Likely, you have the early style, so the W126, large wheel W124 and large wheel 190 will work. If you see one that looks just like yours, it's going to fit. Be careful to get one without split seams. The breakaway seams all prone to cracking as they get older. Jim
