Hood latch problems

My hood latches seem to be a bit slack... I can open and close just fine, but it doesn't seat flush with the top of the fenders and with a small gap above the headlights like it used to. It is about an inch high going down the road, and with the "remote start hood-open kill switch" on the side with the problem, it rarely remote starts when prompted. Is there some way to adjust it, or is it another "fits in the palm of your hand" $300 part like my rear seat adjuster?

Thanks,
Mike

What year & model? Most MB's have provision for hood height adjustment.

Your car has a height adjustment screw on either side of the hood at the front. A 10mm nut locks it in place. Turn the screw clockwise to lower the hood & vice-versa.
