Blower motor/Cruise Amp (88 420 SEL)

I have 2 questions (dumb perhaps), but I need to know how to remove
the black large diameter air distribution ducts that are above the driver's and passenger's lower carpeted cover panels. I have these carpeted panels off. I am trying to get to the blower motor (for heat/ac) and the cruise amp. (silver box) which I am assuming is on the driver's side (like on my 300SD). On my 300SD, it does not have these large black ducts. Any help would be appreciated.

Blower motor is under the right side of the dash under the glove box. It is not very hard to remove. The cruise amp is under the left side near the brake peddle. I assume it is a left hand drive car.
