1991 SL500 won't start ... nothing at all!

Hi...I am a new member ... just just joined this morning and can sure use your help!

I know very very little about cars and so please bear with my inexperience.

I bought a 91 SL500 May 2007 no problems....put it away for the winter..I did start it in January no problem.....tried to start this morning and NOTHING! Engine doesn't crank....nothing lights up on dashboard....no lights..radio..NOTHING.

Plenty of gas....checked battery and also boosted...still NOTHING.....tried starting in Neutral ..still nothing. At 1 point the dashboard instrument panel did light up but only for 10 seconds or so....

Anyone out there with ideas?
