How do you disconnect the front seat wiring on a 420SEL?

I would like to remove the front seats from my '87 420SEL in order to clean the interior. I have removed the seat rails from the body, and the seats are ready to come out, but I can't figure out how to disconnect the wires going to the seat motor, etc. I think there are 3 wires going to the seat, and they don't seem to have any connectors on them anywhere that I can see.

Help, anyone??

The connectors should be on the underside of the seat, fixed to the seat frame.
Disconnect the battery and pry them loose with a screwdriver
