fuel pump 1991 190E

Hi All,

I just replace my fuel filter and was check for leak while running. I was tightening the fuel pump line and accidentally touch the black lead and it spark very so lightly. The car shut off immediately. I restarted the car but it won't run. I look in the fuse box but none listed.
Does this car have a fuse or relay for the fuel pump? Where is it?

Thanks

What type and model car do you have. There is an over voltage protection relay that will have a blown fuse on it.
We need the type of vehicle so we can tell you where the relay is.

Behind the battery is a plastic cover. behind this plastic cover you will find the OVP relay.

The picture is an OVP and Fuel Pump Relay. The OVP is the silver one.

thanks

I replaced the OVP with a used one but still no good. The fuse in the ovp on new and old are not blown. I also check the 2 wire connection on the pump and not power. I will try to get a use fuel pump relay tomorrow. Is there a test on the ovp and fuel relay using some tool. This would save me time and money.

Again thank you very much.

You can bridge the FPR holder between terms 7 and 8 with a fused wire. Turn on ignition and Fuel pump should operate. This is a dummy test of FPR.
