Whilst we're talking about AC....

Anybody know what size the service port fittings are on a W126? Its a pre 9/85 if it makes any difference.

I have the option of purchasing adapters in 1/4" or 3/16" size

I also have the option of converting to a 13 and 16mm acme or GM style push on fittings, which would be better in the long run?

I need to order some conversion fittings so my friends 134 machine will hook upto my car. I've changed all the o-rings, receiver drier, expansion valve etc etc in my quest for working AC. Over in this country, i've found that the only options are r134 or freeze 12.
