Swapping out US headlight for Euro and have a question about the interior switch
Hey all,
I bought a 'euro' light replacement for my 91 560SEL. It waws enough to swap out the connectorrs to get the lights to turn on, and of course installing them was pretty straightforward. I don't get, though, what is the extra numerical three position switch for on the interior switch to operate thelights, and how do I connect it? I must be missing something to get this to work, but not sure how I go about this, and what exactly that switch is for. Is it to raise/loweer the position of the headlights? If so, I have no idea how to go about installing whatever it needs to operate. Searching the web brought me to ALL KINDS of information on nothing related to what I'm asking. Any idea? Thanks, Craig
