help fuel lines

hello everybody

I need to know whether it is necessary to use lubricant on the nuts before tightening them? Which one would you recommend,

MB has never recommended any lubricant.
However if you live where RUST is common?? then using an anti-seize compound is a good idea.

where I am living there is no risk of rust, except normal ageeing
