300e rear end drifts upon accelerating

my 87 300e seems to feel like the rear end drifts to the side when accelerating from a dead stop. Could this be alignment issue or differential mounts/ links worned out?

worn links in the rear

Got rid of 70% of the sway with just one link on each side (sorry, I forget that link's name, but the parts guy said 'This is the most common one"). Got rid of the next 25% a bit later with one more link on each side. The diff mounts may account for that clunk you get when accelerating, but not for the fishtail-steering.
