Replacing front coil springs on W210

Hi everyone,
So, I have ordered factory replacement front springs for my 2001 E430 Sport which are both cracked. The dealer quoted $850 to replace them which seemed a bit high. After looking at them it doesn't seem like a major difficulty to do. I am a car guy and very mechanical, I just haven't done this on this car before.

Any recommendations, tips/tricks or special tools I would need?

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Len

use of compression spring tool is all that needed. The other route is removing lower ball joint and compress the spring.
