Anyone here own a 1992-94 Mercedes S600?

Just wondering how well the engines are on these and if timing chain/guides/rails are as critical on the V12s as it is on the V8s? ... I found a local 1993 Mercedes S600 in MINT condition for a good price. Around 140K miles. Black, on black, on black. She is a beauty. I know that the early W140s had that dreadful evaporator core issue, but I think this one has been taken care of in this car. Same person also has a 1994 S420, another beauty and much lower miles (around 75K). Unsure of the price on that one yet.

BUT then I found a nice local 2000 S500 in MINT condition for $14200. Looks like a good deal, but I know that the 2000 S-Class sedans have some issues.

well maintained s320 will do
