Question I really need your help on this one!

Hey there,

I have a very bad problem, here goes. I have a 1986 190E 2.3-16V. I recently turbocharged it late last year. However, ever since I finished turbocharging it, I've come across a strange and deadly symptom. Whenever I let of the gas after full throttle and building boost, the car continues to accelerate!!?! It will continue to accelerate as if at full throttle and continue to build boost. I have a Blitz dual SBC boost controller and i've had max boost readings as high as 14psi or roughly 0.93 bar. That is insane considering the boost is supposed to be set at a moderate 5.5psi. Please help me out on what is the matter. I can no longer have fun with my car and it is driving me crazy. Could this be from a bad wastegate? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Clinton Davis
