On which models can the steering be locked / centered while aligning the wheels?

A search on this forum seems to indicate that, while aligning the wheels, the steering can be locked / centered on all models.

But my mechanic cannot find the centering pin / bolt location on either my W124 or my W126. He doesn't find any mention of it in the documentation he has either. He wonders if the W123 isn't the last model with that feature.

So I am interested to hear from anyone here who is able to confirm either way.
