help 1987 260e

Hello all i have a 1987 260e and need help the car set for approx 1 1/2 years for transmission work motor ran great got it back and would not do much more then idle have put in new fuel pumps new fuel regulator have presure to fuel distributor but seems to have low or no prssure when i crack the line above any injector also replaced fuel filter and fuel distibutor with another used one no results can any one help me out fuel tank cleaned. still i have presure to the fuel distributor and when you crack the injector line u get just a small amount of fuel same thing at the top of the distrubtor

Of course that problem starts with varnish in the tank.

The tank should be removed & chemically cleaned before wasting more time & money.

thanks for the info on tank what eles stops the fuel from getting to injectors and how do you test the fuel distributor.
