W124 wagon rear lower control arm bushing questions ?

The lower control arm bushings where the self-leveling strut & hub knuckle connect on my 1988 300TE wagon is squeaking when the suspension moves up & down. Has anyone R&R'd these ? If so, any tips ? From reading the factory manual, it looks like a minimum of 4-5 hours per side. Also, does anyone know if you order a NEW rear lower control arm (124 350 53 06) does it come with all the bushings installed, or if some bushings, which ones ? Thanks, :-) neil |

After some searching, it looks like the ball-joints are in the rear hub/knuckle assembly, not the lower control arm. Does anyone know if a new rear hub/knuckle assembly 124.350.10.32 / 11.32) comes with these ball-joints installed ? :-) neil Last edited by ke6dcj; 07-07-2008 at 05:30 PM. |

See this thread dealing with the same subject: Rear Outer Bushing Joint Replacement I do not know if a new hub comes with the bushing. |
